Programs for Parents (PFP) is a non-profit organization in Essex County, NJ.  The mission of PFP is to ensure children get the best possible start in life. The organization serves thousands of families and providers with resources to access and sustain quality child care businesses.

Challenge

PFP wishes to stabilize and expand the number of high-quality child care programs available to families. One destabilizing factor is outdated methods of operating child care administrative tasks.  Providers frequently spend too much time on administrative work in different apps or by using pen and paper.


Solution

PFP connected with Wonderschool to help enhance nearby child care businesses. Within ten days, the majority of network providers were able to make their programs live on Wonderschool’s online marketplace and download our all-in-one child care operations app.

70% of the family child providers in the PFP use more than one Wonderschool tool. Average page views for all providers in the network have climbed by 800% since they launched their websites.

For the first time in 14 years, one provider was able to establish and maintain a waitlist through the website application process.

Four providers have started mentoring three neighboring counties on best business practices.
